The STRONGER Board is actively seeking participants for the performance of state reviews. In particular, members of public interest and environmental groups and associations are invited to contact STRONGER about applying for consideration for appointment to review teams or participation as observers of the process.

The conduct of reviews is governed by the Rules of Participation, and STRONGER covers travel expenses for all team members. Public interest team members are also eligible for some compensation for their time.

The Board of STRONGER is composed of representatives of the states that have oil and gas regulatory programs, industry representatives and public interest representatives. The state representatives are appointed by the State Review Committee of the Interstate Oil and Gas Compact Commission. Industry representatives are generally nominated by industry associations. Public interest representatives have, to date, been nominated by sitting Board members.

The STRONGER Board would like to hear from anyone who is interested in serving on the Board to discuss opportunities.
